As the Christmas decorations come down, and the New Year’s resolution to join the gym is successfully followed through (although no classes have yet been attended) we at M.A.D begin to gradually return to the office and look up at the calendar to see what the new year brings for us. A few big programs in January, some exciting trips away in February, including one to Uluru. March is shaping up well including a jam packed Port Douglas itinerary for Volvo and this is all just in the first three months. May sees the 15th Reef and Rainforest Carnivale which is still being talked about from last years huge success. This year again sees a host of fantastic events and competitions.
Whilst we never have much time for reflection in the MAD office this is the time we ponder how fortunate we are that our jobs include going to amazing places throughout Australia, pulling off magnificent events from ideas that clients have in their heads. We feel an enormous sense of pride and begin to wonder how we achieve the next level, pull off more amazing dinners and find more unique tours to add to our already outstanding portfolio. Though this may sound daunting we take it in our stride and thrive of the excitement and pleasure of receiving a box of chocolates and a heart felt card from another client whose program has been completed without a hitch. Nothing can compare to the sense of accomplishment you feel when seeing the dream of a client and our hard work run like clock work on the day. We enjoyed the break as much as the next office but when we are doing something different everyday, it’s like Christmas everyday (and of course the MADness that comes with it). So after checking the fridge to see if there’s still some of the beautiful cake left from one of the Christmas hampers, we sit back switch on the computer and begin to create.
